It was great catching up with you at the reunion. Welcome to Lakeland.
Happy Birthday Billy. Hope you had a great day and lots of fun memories to think about as you spend time on the beach. I certainly enjoyed visiting with you at the reunion.

Thanks for extending the offer on the prayer group, George. I would love to participate. Is the prayer group a formal group and how does one participate?
Actually thought I would be in Jacksonville in November, however life activities here in Lakeland have dictated otherwise. Now December looks slammed so it looks like my first opportunity will be January.
Please give my regards to everyone the makes it to the lunch on Saturday.

So very sorry to read about your loss of your husband. I admire your resilience to reach out and get involved. Don't know if I could do the same.
May God give you strength to get through a difficult time.
Hi George, just thinking about you, . . .and I see that I am not the only one. Keep up the good fight, and keep the faith. I will continue to pray for you.

First let me wish you a very Happy Birthday. Second, let me tell you the in spite of the fact that I have not been active with the reunions and gatherings, I think of you and many of my Lee friends quite often. And please know that I will pray for you and your recovery. Keep a positive spirit and keep the faith.

Hope I am doing this correctly. I am a bit technically challenged. Thank you very much for the birthday wishes. Living in minus 6 degree weather I think I would be looking for almost any reason to go South. Sounds like you have a great trip planned and I hope you have a great time.
Jacki and I did a lot of traveling last year and it was a blast. In the spring we went out to Colorado and spent time out there with our son and his family so we played Grandparents for some time around Denver, Boulder, Estes Park and into the Rocky Mountain National Park. Then we drove to Charlotte and spent some time with Jacki's Uncle as he had just lost his wife, Jacki's Aunt. That part of the trip was not that much fun as one might expect.
In mid September, Jacki and I rented a flat on Frederick Street, one half block off of Princess Street in Edinburgh, Scotland. We could see Edinburgh Castle from our front porch. That was a blast. Got stuffed on the local food and beer and lived like a local Scot till mid October and came home to Florida heat. We even did some local flea markets.
Now we are talking about finding a place in the North Carolina Mountains to possible rent for a month or maybe two and again get out to of the Florida heat.
Great to hear from you and again, enjoy your trip.
Just reading that you are home recovering and dong ok. Glad to know. Will pray for you to have a full and complete recovery, take care.
Hope you had a great trip. Did you drive your camper or did you fly?
Thank you Julie. It was so nice to you and everyone today. Everyone looked like they were doing so well and so happy.
Will not be able to make the next few lunches. Jacki and I will be in Scotland from mid September through mid October. Might be able to make the November lunch.
P.s. I just got home at about 8pm. Long day to and from Jacksonville.
